Baked Camembert with Crudites
Oven cooked soft cheese that is studded with garlic cloves and fresh thyme tips is a crowd-pleaser. This is an easy recipe for a dinner party or great for a quick weekend supper. Serve with your choice of crudites and gluten and wheat free toasted bread and remember the rule, no double dipping!!!
Ingredients
- 250g Camembert
- 6 cloves of garlic - cut in half lengthways
- Sprigs of fresh thyme
- Assorted crudites – cucumber - pepper - carrots - celery etc
- Toasted gluten and wheat free bread

Method
Prep time: 5 mins
Cook time: 20 mins
Heat the oven to 200°C, 180°C fan, gas mark 6.
Unwrap the cheese and place in a camembert baker or in an ovenproof dish.
Using a sharp knife, make some small incisions into the cheese and then poke the garlic and thyme into the camembert and bake for 20 minutes until gooey.
Serve with a variety of crudites, toasted GF/WF bread or crackers for dipping.
