
Asian Style Prawns
These Asian-style prawns make a super starter; serve them at your next dinner party and watch everyone dig in. They are sure to leave your guests wanting more.
Ingredients
- Sunflower oil - for frying
- 24 king prawns - peeled - deveined and heads removed but tails left on
- 200ml coconut milk
- 100g gluten and wheat free plain flour (I use Doves Farm)
- 25g cornflour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 large free-range egg
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp coriander seeds
- 120ml olive oil
- Bunch fresh mint
- Bunch fresh basil
- Bunch fresh coriander
- 1 red chilli - deseeded
- 1 clove of garlic
- Juice of 2 limes
- 4cm piece fresh ginger
- ½ tsp salt
- Lime wedges to serve
- A few coriander leaves for decoration
