You can capture the taste of summer with this strawberry infused gin that can be drunk over ice, with tonic or be used as the base for a delicious cocktail.
- 700ml bottle of gin
- 100g caster sugar
- 450g punnet of ripe strawberries - sliced
In a large bowl, mix the strawberries with the gin and caster sugar. Pour into a 1.5 litre sterilised Kilner jar and place in the fridge.
Stir every 2-3 days for 4 weeks. Strain though a muslin cloth and enjoy!
